Good location and good quality/price

Large, clean room. Bad customer service! Front desk clerk laughed when I asked if he would waive the $10 per night roll a way fee, and when I asked for a complimentary late check out he would only allow another 45 minutes. I used to work at a major hotel casino here in Las Vegas, and I know these are small things that dont cost the motel anything, but goes a long way with customers. On our last full day I called the front desk and asked if they would print us a map and directions to San Francisco. The woman said incredulously, "San Francisco" , like I was crazy and how dare I ask for such a thing. She stated that she did not have access to a computer for that! What?! So we make due with my daughters smart phone. But just as we were leaving for our day trip to San Francisco at 7:45am, I realized i had left a bag in the room along with my key. My wife gave me her key, it did not work! I went to the office, they were not open, and would'nt be until 9am. So we had to leave without some food and water that we purchased for our trip, which cost us even more to repurchase in San Fran. Overall good trip. Will look for somewhere else to stay next time. I stay here each time I'm in Monterey Bay. The rooms are super clean and the price is perfect. Friendly staff — I had forgotten to cancel a reservation and he waved the fee/no cancel policy. I highly recommend staying here and plus it's convenient to everything
