Downtown Monterey Hotel Reviews

I stayed here with my service dog, the rooms very clean and nice the bed and pillows were super comfortable. All the staff were nice and super friendly. This is the best location I promise.

solid. Location near downtown is nice, Lots of food and beer you can walk to. Room was very clean. Ocean view rooms are better than the regular ones, but those are still acceptable. One of the better Days Inns I've stayed at.

My first challenge was actually finding the office. I accidentally went to the property across the street and stood there wondering if I had checked into a parallel universe. A sign would have solved that mystery quickly. Once inside, things got much better. I liked the complimentary juices and water in the lobby. Small detail, big appreciation. The room was flawless. Clean, comfortable, and equipped with a microwave and refrigerator that actually worked. The heater was excellent and blissfully quiet, which deserves its own applause. The location is a win. Plenty of restaurants are within walking distance, so food was never a problem. I even appreciated the 9:00 a.m. wake-up knock. Consider it a friendly reminder that morning had arrived, whether I was ready or not. Overall, a solid stay and great value for Monterey. I would stay here again, hopefully after they install a sign pointing to the office.

Great basic little room. It was clean and comfortable and had the necessities. The location was the best part we walked downtown and the beach. You can walk to cannery row as well.
