The Center provides 41,000 square feet of meeting and event space, 19,600 square feet of exhibition space, a 500-seat amphitheater and elegant ballrooms in an exquisite waterfront setting.

The Monterey Conference Center boasts gorgeous views that connect people with Monterey's dramatic beauty. The Center also offers creative catering services with delicious cuisine and audiovisual capabilities. Built in 1977, the coastal venue is a Monterey historic landmark that reflects the city's vibrant energy, culture, and commerce. The Monterey Conference Center can accommodate groups of up to 1,700 guests and offers two levels of exceptional meeting space including an exhibit hall, luxurious boardroom, ballrooms,  breakout rooms, outdoor patios, and banquet facilities. 
In connection with Monterey's art community, the Conference Center features impressive permanent and rotating collections. Walls and public spaces display paintings, sculptures, and tapestries from contemporary local artists. After you are greeted by "Two Dolphins," a nine-foot-tall sculpture made of inlaid wood that depicts dolphins in flight, walk to the Alvarado Gallery with changing art from Peninsula artists.
