Dance the Night Away 80's Rock, Pop, New Wave & More! New Year's Eve will be Everything Your Heart Desires at the Portola Hotel & Spa's 80's inspired event! Enjoy live music, dancing, a buffet dinner, and an open bar as you ring in 2020 at this righteous New Year's Eve event in downtown Monterey. The New Year's Eve festivities kick off at 7:30pm on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 for 21+ and older inside the Portola Hotel & Spa. Entertainment Dance the night away with your favorite 80's classics! The Rhythm Is Gonna Get You with live music from The Money Band in the grand ballroom and additional live entertainment through the evening by DJ Jon and Captain and Messina. Countdown to 2020 with a champagne toast and a balloon drop at midnight. Before the night ends capture your evening with photos at the photo booth provided by The Vintage PhotoBox™. The Menu The evening begins with a reception offering hand passed hors d'oeuvres and your favorite drinks from the open bar. Enjoy a buffet dinner that is Simply Irresistible featuring Veggie Stuffed Peppers, Shake-n-Bake Chicken, Steak-umm Sandwiches, and much more. Save room for dessert with 80's Candies and Frozen Treats and Jell-O Pudding Tea Cups to name a few - did we mention there will be late night snacks too!
